wellness

I've taught yoga everywhere from London studios to Caribbean beaches to corporate boardrooms, and on private retreats from Europe to Costa Rica. After thirty years of practice and study in movement and anatomy, here's what matters: yoga should feel grounding, adaptable, and built for your life.

Whether you need private sessions, retreat experiences, or workplace wellness, I create practices that are designed to meet you exactly where you are.

Practices designed for your body, your life.

intentional movement & mindfulness

Yoga isn't just movement.
It's medicine, clarity, and coming home to yourself.

I took my first yoga class as a teenager as a way to manage chronic health conditions and fell in love with the practice. I became a teacher in my early twenties, and over the past three decades, I've been fortunate to study with some incredible teachers and have been a contributing writer to various yoga publications. A founding teacher at multiple London studios, I have mentored other teachers, led retreats across three continents, and taught everyone from elite athletes to people with disabilities.

In addition to my extensive teacher training, I'm also a qualified Sports Massage Therapist and have undertaken studies in Yoga Therapy and Yoga Medicine, which means I am not only knowledgeable in yoga philosophy, but anatomy, hands-on bodywork, and how bodies actually move and heal. I remain deeply committed to being a student of yoga.

I still live with the chronic autoimmune conditions that brought me to the mat, and credit my practice for helping me manage the challenges alongside my hospitality career and life in general. This lived experience means that yoga isn't just what I teach - it's my own personal medicine and therapy, and essential to my own wellbeing.

My practice, my philosophy - the foundation of my work

My practice,
my philosophy - the foundation of my work

For me, yoga isn't about touching your toes or nailing the perfect pose - it's about showing up for yourself exactly as you are and finding what actually works for your body and your life. Yes, the physical practice matters - learning to move well and building a more comfortable relationship with your body. But it is also about creating space to breathe, finding moments of stillness in the chaos, and developing tools that support you mentally and emotionally. And the more people who can honor themselves with this practice - who can move with intention, listen to their bodies, and find what serves them on and off the mat - the more we can all show up in the world in the way that truly matters. That's my belief, and it's what drives my teaching.

My approach

I bring the same approach to my public classes that I bring to all my yoga offerings: thoughtful sequencing, clear cues, attention to alignment and anatomy, and a genuine desire to make you feel welcome and seen.

I make hands-on adjustments for those that are comfortable with it, I crack jokes (usually bad, sometimes Dad), and I want you to understand not just what you're doing, but why it matters for your body and mind. My goal is that you finish each class knowing something about yourself that you didn't know before. I want you to leave feeling capable, grounded, and more connected to yourself - with tools you can actually use in your everyday life.

Whether you're brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years, I aim to meet you where you are, and help you move forwards from there.

Retreat styles

I've led retreats across Europe, Central America, and the Caribbean - creating space for students to deepen their yoga practice, explore beautiful destinations with intention, and connect with themselves and others. While many of my past retreats have been yoga-focused, I'm increasingly drawn to offerings that combine movement with broader wellness themes - like navigating life transitions, finding sustainable balance, or exploring what it means to thrive in midlife.

I don't have any retreats currently scheduled, but I'm actively planning my future offerings. If you're interested in joining a retreat, bringing me on as a teacher, or you think you have something to offer as a collaborator - reach out and let's connect.

Questions & Answers

Absolutely! If anything, yoga is especially helpful for people who feel stiff or tight and need to work on their mobility - this may even be the reason you're thinking to start in the first place. Flexibility is never a prerequisite for yoga - it's something you build over time.

My classes are designed to work with the body you already have, and I offer modifications and options so that everyone can participate comfortably.

If you're brand new and feeling unsure where to start, don't hesitate to reach out - I'll be more than happy to point you in the right direction. We all had to start somewhere.

Please let me know. I have experience working with chronic conditions, injuries, and physical limitations, and while I can offer modifications to keep your practice safe and supportive, I can only do this if you provide me with the information. That said, I'm not a medical professional. If you're unsure whether yoga is appropriate for your situation, check with your doctor first.

For private sessions: We'll do a full consultation during our first session where you can share everything about your body, health, what you're working with, and what you're working towards. This helps me design a practice that's right for you.

For public classes: I try to connect quietly with new students before we start moving so that I know how to support you throughout class. If possible, arrive 15-20 minutes early for your first class - it gives us time to get acquainted and makes sure you feel comfortable before the class starts.

Just yourself, a full water bottle, and comfortable clothing you can move in (breathable fabrics are helpful). The studio has mats and props available, but you're welcome to bring your own mat if you already have one.

If you're brand new and thinking about buying a mat, wait until we've talked - not all mats are created equal, and I can point you toward one that suits your needs.

Head to my contact page and fill out the relevant form so that we can schedule a brief consultation call to discuss your goals, make sure we're a good fit, and find a time that works.

Private sessions are 75-90 minutes and include a personalized practice designed around your specific needs, goals, and where you are in your life right now. Packages offer better value and allow us to build on your progress time.

4-Session Package: $560 ($140/session)

I believe in the power of being in the same space, and for this reason, I prefer in-person sessions. It's hard to provide hands-on adjustments through a screen (I'm good, but I'm not THAT good!), and there's something about connection and presence that can get lost in a virtual format. That said, I have taught virtually and understand that sometimes it might be the most practical option. If virtual is what works best for you, reach out to me, and we can discuss how to make it as effective as possible.

I get it - life happens, and sometimes you need to reschedule for no fault of your own. For that reason, I'm as flexible as I can be, when I can be (no pun intended!). That said, as an independent teacher and a business owner with a lot of logs in the fire, my schedule often revolves around the sessions I've committed to. This means I may have turned down other opportunities or even planned my entire week around our time together.

For this reason, I ask for at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will result in the full session fee being charged or the session being forfeited from your package. No exceptions.

I understand that genuine emergencies happen - and in those rare cases, reach out and we can discuss. But as a general rule, your session time is reserved exclusively for you, and I ask that you honor that time commitment.
